Charlie watched as a stranger cornered Neville, crowding his space. He had no business staring—but he couldn't take his eyes off Neville.
They'd crossed paths at the Burrow here and there, but this was the first time Charlie saw Neville out at the Crystal Club, separate, with his own friends.
Charlie couldn't tell if Neville was welcoming the attention but he found himself not welcoming it for Neville.
Why am I jealous? he wondered. I barely know the kid.
But when Neville looked over and met his eyes—just for a second—Charlie knew he wasn’t imagining the pull.
